Dreadlock Holiday – a riff from a riff
Bar legend Eric Castron created this little piece of brilliance for his San Diego bar, Raised by Wolves, in 2019. Its origin is quite simple. The Dreadlock Holiday is a riff of a riff. You all know the Negroni and many of you certainly also the Twist as White Negroni with the gentian liqueur Suze.
^^So what did Castro do? He adopted the White Negroni recipe and first replaced the gin with an aged Jamaican rum. Further, he added a Barspoon Pineapple Liqueur to the ingredient list. These two changes in the formula basically turn it into a tiki version of the White Negroni. That’s it.
